Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. in Bangor, ME is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across the community. You will repair homes and facilities, maintain grounds, roads, and utility systems, and deliver excellent resident service.

This role requires physical work outdoors, strong teamwork, and reliable scheduling. Responsibilities include snow removal, irrigation checks, water meter work, and assisting with contractors while upholding Sun’s curb appeal standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in snow removal preferred where applicable.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on homes and facilities.
• Maintain grounds, streets, and common areas.
• Inspect irrigation and water systems; test and repair meters.
• Operate snow removal equipment as needed.
• Assist with supervision of service contractors.
• Ensure community curb appeal and safety.
