Job summary

YES Communities in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe, organized, and stocked with supplies. You will interact with residents, address service requests and inspections, and support upkeep of community assets.

Expected tasks include preventative maintenance, safety compliance with OSHA standards, and assisting in home deliveries. A high school diploma and a valid Florida driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires valid in-state driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool operation experience are a plus.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance and make-ready work.
• Keep common areas, grounds, and vacant lots clean and safe.
• Respond to service requests promptly and safely.
• Read water meters and identify leaks; report issues.
• Assist with new home delivery and set-up; report warranty work.
