Job summary

RHP Properties, headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Maple Run community located in Clio, MI, to perform general grounds and basic repairs on homes owned by the community. This is a full-time role offering benefits and opportunities for growth.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid operator’s license and a good driving record.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC, and carpentry.
• May need to provide own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to perform on-call duties.
• Must be able to operate maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to ensure homes and community areas are in proper condition.
• Execute assigned work orders and report status to the Community Manager.
• Promote courtesy and attentiveness in all resident and staff interactions.
• Identify deficiencies and take action with Community Manager approval.
• Maintain grounds and perform lawn care and seasonal landscaping tasks.
• Remove garbage from grounds and resident sites as needed.
• Assist with refurbishing Community Owned homes and repairs to water/sewer lines.
• Remain on-call for duties as required.
