Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years on-the-job experience is required.
• Minimum one year construction or professional trade experience is preferred.
• Experience with multiple hand and power tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily physical plant rounds and inspect facility for repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance rounds for the physical plant.
• Execute minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs; painting required.
• Address lighting and cosmetic issues; correct as needed.
• Review maintenance request logs and update accordingly multiple times daily.
• Assist staff with furniture moves, equipment repairs, and problem solving as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to improve residents' living quarters.
• Support Maintenance Director on special projects and system improvements.
