Job summary

CareOne in Morristown, NJ is hiring a Maintenance Worker to oversee daily upkeep of our facility. The role involves minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical and cosmetic repairs, with an emphasis on safe, clean and well-maintained living spaces for residents.

Shifts include Full-Time, Part-Time and Per Diem opportunities, with a salary range of $16-$25 per hour. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years’ maintenance experience; construction or trades

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of on-the-job maintenance experience.
• Minimum one year construction or professional trade experience preferred.
• Experience with multiple hand and power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily upkeep of the physical plant and surroundings.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs; painting as needed.
• Complete daily plant rounds and address lighting/cosmetic issues.
• Review maintenance request logs and implement corrections as needed.
• Assist with furniture moves, equipment repairs, and problem solving within the facility.
• Collaborate with staff and Maintenance Director to improve systems and living spaces for residents.
