Job summary

CareOne Harmony Village at CareOne Cherry Hill is hiring a Maintenance Worker to oversee daily upkeep of the facility and surroundings. Responsibilities include minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs, plus routine plant rounds and preventive maintenance to ensure resident comfort and safety.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of on-the-job experience; construction or trade background and experience with hand/power tools are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years on the job experience.
• Minimum one year construction or professional trade experience is preferred.
• Experience with multiple hand and power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and oversight of all aspects of the upkeep of the physical plant and its surroundings.
• Perform daily plant rounds and make corrections to lighting and cosmetic issues as needed.
• Minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs of facility and equipment within. Painting a must.
• Work closely with staff to improve quality of living quarters of residents.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance rounds as assigned.
• Work closely with Maintenance Director to improve overall function of systems within facility.
