Rudeen Management Company is seeking a maintenance associate to perform general maintenance tasks with minimal supervision. The role supports Washington properties in Spokane Valley, Medical Lake, and Cheney, ensuring safe environments for residents, guests, and staff.

Responsibilities include preparing vacants, painting, basic electrical/plumbing work, appliance repair, grounds keeping, and managing work orders while contributing to curb-appeal across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Ability to perform general maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Turn units in a timely manner and prepare vacant apartments for new tenants.
• Paint and perform minor electrical/plumbing repairs as needed.
• Repair appliances and maintain grounds across properties.
• Maintain curb appeal of common areas and track work orders.

Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 8:30am - 5pm

Job Summary:

This individual will be expected to perform general maintenance tasks with minimal supervision. They will be expected to help maintain a safe environment for the residents, guests, and employees. Able to perform various work orders along with preventative maintenance work orders.

This position also will help out all Washington properties located in Spokane Valley, Medical Lake, and Cheney.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Able to turn units in a timely manner - Getting vacant apartments ready for the new tenants to move in
• Painting
• Some electrical and plumbing work
• Repairing appliances
• Maintain the grounds
• Up-keep the curb appeal, clubhouse, amenities, and other common areas at one or more properties
• Track inventory and work order filing

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1-year experience preferred, not required
• Able to lift, push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds individually, regularly
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and painting
• Valid driver license, preferred
• English language proficiency
• Great customer service
• General understanding of Microsoft Suites
• Knowledge of environmental/industrial hazards as they apply to residential housing
