Rudeen Management is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs with minimal supervision, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff.

The role includes completing apartment turns, work orders, painting, basic electrical/plumbing repairs, appliance troubleshooting, and helping maintain grounds and curb appeal across properties. Strong communication with residents and team is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One year of maintenance-related experience preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and basic maintenance practices.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds independently.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Effective communication in English.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Independent and team work ability.
• Prioritize work orders and manage multiple needs.
• Knowledge of environmental and industrial hazards in residential housing.
• Dependable, organized, and committed to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns in a timely manner, preparing vacant units for new residents.
• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance requests.
• Perform interior and exterior painting and touch-ups.
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances.
• Assist with general building and property maintenance.
• Maintain property grounds and a welcoming appearance.
• Maintain curb appeal of the property, clubhouse, amenities, and common areas.
• Assist with maintenance needs at multiple properties as assigned.
• Track maintenance supplies and inventory.
• Maintain accurate work order documentation and filing.
• Communicate professionally with residents, coworkers, vendors, and management.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable maintenance practices.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs with minimal supervision while helping maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, guests, and employees.

The Maintenance Technician will complete a variety of service requests, apartment turns, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks while providing excellent service to our residents and supporting the overall appearance and operation of the property.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Complete apartment turns in a timely manner, preparing vacant units for new residents
• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance requests
