Rudeen Management is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician Float to support properties across Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Hayden in Idaho. This role provides hands-on maintenance and preventative tasks to keep residents and buildings in top condition.

As a float technician, you will perform electrical, plumbing, painting, appliance repair, and general upkeep, while coordinating with property teams and residents to ensure timely turns and high service standards across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, and appliances.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at multiple Idaho properties across Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene and Hayden.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support at properties across Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Hayden.
• Complete apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Handle resident work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Paint interior and exterior and perform touch-ups.
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Troubleshoot appliances and assist with site upkeep.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal across properties.
• Track maintenance supplies and document work orders.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and management.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintenance practices.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician Float to join our team. This position provides maintenance support to our Idaho properties located throughout Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Hayden based on property and staffing needs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide maintenance support at properties throughout Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Hayden as assigned
• Complete apartment turns in a timely manner, preparing vacant units for new residents
• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance requests
• Perform interior and exterior painting and touch-ups
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances
• Assist with general building and property maintenance
• Maintain property grounds and help ensure a clean and welcoming appearance
• Maintain the curb appeal of properties, clubhouses, amenities, common areas, and surrounding grounds
• Assist maintenance teams with projects, repairs, and additional property needs
• Track maintenance supplies and inventory
• Maintain accurate work order documentation and filing
• Communicate professionally with residents, coworkers, vendors, and management
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable maintenance practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• One year of maintenance-related experience preferred, but not required
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and basic maintenance practices
• Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds independently
• Valid driver's license preffered, but not required
• Ability to work at multiple Idaho properties throughout Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Hayden as assigned
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including a general understanding of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize work orders and manage multiple maintenance needs
• Ability to adapt to different properties, teams, and daily priorities
• General knowledge of environmental and industrial hazards as they relate to residential housing
