Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep across the property, guest units, and grounds, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff.

The role requires hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, plus the ability to troubleshoot, work independently or with a team, and flex to occasional weekends or holidays. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends or holidays.
• Valid driver\'s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• Conduct preventative maintenance and respond promptly to service requests.
• Maintain resort grounds, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Troubleshoot issues and recommend long-term solutions.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping, front desk, and management teams.
