Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a Maintenance Specialist in New York to ensure garages and surface lots are cleaned and maintained daily. The role involves customer interaction, basic maintenance, and coordination with other teams to keep facilities safe and presentable.

The ideal candidate can operate maintenance equipment, respond to issues promptly, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license is a plus, and the job may require flexibility across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in general facility maintenance and customer relations.
• Parking industry experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garages and surface lots daily, including cleaning and upkeep.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks (lights, trash, sweeping, painting).
• Assist with snow removal and winter upkeep.
• Provide customer assistance and resolve issues; greet customers by name.
• Assist with cashiering functions as needed.
