Job summary

LAZ Parking in Peekskill, NY is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to keep garages and surface lots clean and safe daily, while interfacing with customers and coordinating with teams to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include general maintenance, snow removal, and operating equipment; assist customers and cashiering as needed. A HS diploma is preferred; parking experience is a plus. This is a non-exempt, full-time role with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience with general facility maintenance required.
• Experience in customer relations.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
• May need a valid driver’s license and be able to operate Maintenance vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure garages and surface lots are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis.
• General maintenance of the garage and surface lots – sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, painting, etc.
• Assist with snow removal and winter upkeep.
• May operate maintenance equipment to clean floors.
• Greet customers, resolve issues, and maintain positive relations.
• Provide vehicle assistance to customers in garages and lots.
• Assist customers via intercom, in lobbies, lanes, and offices.
• Support cashiering functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
