Job summary

Brightondale Senior Living in Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain the physical plant and grounds, with daytime hours and an on-call rotation. You will work with the Director to set annual goals and implement strategies to achieve them, and help turn around apartments for showcasing and leasing to prospective residents.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of maintenance or handyman experience in a senior housing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of maintenance or handyman experience preferred in senior housing.
• Ability to communicate scheduled maintenance clearly.

Responsibilities

• Diligently maintain the physical plant and grounds.
• Work with the Director to set annual goals and implement strategies.
• Turn around apartments for showing and leasing to prospects.
• Actively communicate scheduled maintenance.
• Assist the department director with tasks as assigned.
