Job summary

Discovery Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in a senior living community. The role covers maintenance, housekeeping tasks around the grounds, and routine repairs of buildings, equipment, and residences to keep the community safe and well-maintained.

On-call availability may be required to address urgent service requests. Ideal candidates have at least one year of maintenance experience, a solid understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year maintenance experience.
• Ability to be on call if needed.
• General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
• Ability to respond to emergencies outside scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping around community grounds as assigned.
• Complete service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely, cost-efficient manner.
• Repair walls/floor coverings, furniture and fixtures; basic plumbing; minor electrical; appliance repairs; painting; HVAC, refrigeration, carpet and hard surface maintenance; and prepare rooms as needed.
