Job summary
Envista is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Mahwah, NJ facility to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and document work while ensuring compliance with SOP, FDA, and ISO standards.
You will support setup, modifications, validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives, with 2nd/3rd shifts and overtime as needed.
Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
- College/technical/trade degree in Engineering Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment per schedules and procedures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Repair and replace motors, sensors, actuators, belts, bearings, relays, switches, and other components.
- Respond to breakdowns, evaluate issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Interpret schematics and manuals to support troubleshooting and repairs.
- Document maintenance activities and equipment history in CMMS.
