Job summary

Envista's Mahwah facility is seeking a Junior Maintenance Technician to support preventive maintenance, assist with repairs, and document work while complying with SOP/ FDA/ ISO standards. Under guidance from senior technicians, you will help minimize downtime and learn maintenance software, with flexibility for 2nd/3rd shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

High School diploma/ GED required or equivalent experience.
College or trade school degree in engineering mechanics or electronics preferred.
Entry-level knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or manufacturing systems preferred.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn maintenance software.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment per procedures.
Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Support basic repairs and replacement of components and sensors.
Document maintenance work orders, repairs, and observations in tracking systems.
Follow safety requirements and company policies during maintenance tasks.
Communicate equipment status and handoffs to team members and supervisors.
