Job summary

Envista Holdings Corporation in Mahwah, NJ seeks a Junior Maintenance Technician to support safe, efficient operation of production equipment. You will perform routine preventive maintenance, assist with repairs, document work, and follow SOP, FDA, ISO standards.

Under supervision, you will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems, learn maintenance software, and participate in safety training. Overtime, weekend shifts, and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with CNC equipment or manufacturing machinery is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn maintenance software.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop technical maintenance skills.
• Team player with good attendance and reliability.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in English (reading/writing/speaking).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment per procedures.
• Assist technicians with troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
• Support basic repairs and replacement of components.
• Document maintenance activities, work orders, and observations.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a safe, organized condition.
• Communicate equipment status and handoff information to team.
• Participate in training to develop maintenance knowledge and skills.
• Work overtime and non-standard shifts as needed.
