Job summary

Bedrock Property Management in Ottumwa, IA seeks a Maintenance Technician responsible for responding to service requests and completing repairs promptly with a strong focus on plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs to keep the property in top condition and ensure resident satisfaction.

You will work with a team, follow safety guidelines, and communicate effectively with residents and coworkers, including in challenging situations.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 HVAC certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience in plumbing or carpentry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service to residents and proactively resolve issues.
• Maintain the physical condition of the property and common areas.
• Utilize hand and power tools to perform upkeep and repairs.
• Respond to issues outside of normal work hours when required.
• Coordinate with Groundskeeper and assist with basic landscaping tasks.
