Talon Development is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to service our residential communities in Mason City, IA. You will handle repairs, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, and safety, while delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities, or skilled trades preferred.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other building repairs.
• Prepare apartments for new residents by completing repairs, painting, cleaning touch-ups, and inspections.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
• Coordinate with Property Manager and vendors; document work orders in AppFolio.
