Job summary

Corning Incorporated in North Carolina seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated manufacturing lines in an FDA compliant setting.

You will troubleshoot equipment, support electrical systems up to 480 VAC, and collaborate with engineering to implement upgrades. Requires 6+ years of experience, Vision systems, and PLC expertise, plus NFPA 70E certification.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience required.
• NFPA 70E Arc Flash certification is required.
• Minimum 6 years of equipment maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Vision systems and Allen-Bradley PLCs is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates maintenance resources with supervision and line leads.
• Performs routine line changes and startup/shutdown procedures.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and updates work orders in CMMS.
• Trains and mentors maintenance and operations associates.
• Troubleshoots equipment, performs electrical maintenance up to 480 VAC.
• Supports engineering with equipment installations and upgrades.
