Schreiber Foods in Beloit, WI seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to improve operating functions of manufacturing equipment through preventative maintenance, upgrades, and diagnostics. You’ll tackle downtime and quality issues, and boost machine efficiency on weekend night shifts.

This interview position offers on-site work with 10% shift differential, weekend pay, overtime as needed, and opportunities to grow through ESOP benefits and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Two-year technical degree or 5+ years of Electrical-Mechanical technician experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems (24VDC, 480VAC, proximity sensors, motor controls, VFDs).
• Ability to obtain Forklift/Scissor lift license.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production.
• Set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance service.
• Disassemble and diagnose equipment for repairs.
• Rebuild complex machine tools and plant equipment.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Operate forklifts.
• Input data into CMMS and other software.
• Communicate effectively with managers and leaders.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
