Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing & Maintenance Technician to perform emergency repairs and maintenance on production equipment in a fast-paced facility in Beloit, Wisconsin. You will prepare machinery for scheduled runs and troubleshoot diverse systems to minimize downtime.

Engage in data entry into CMMS, operate forklifts, and follow safety and quality policies. A two-year technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree or 5+ years electrical–mechanical technician experience.
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Experience with electrical systems (24VDC, 480VAC) and motor controls.
• Forklift/scissor lift license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production.
• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled runs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance service.
• Operate forklifts and input data into CMMS.
• Disassemble and rebuild complex machines and plant equipment.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
