Job summary

Schreiber Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a climate-controlled facility with no mandatory overtime. Expect a top starting pay up to $42.80/hour, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and rich benefits, including ESOP, strong retirement matching, and twice-yearly performance bonuses. Shift is 5:00 PM–5:00 AM on alternating weeks.

You’ll support preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and sanitation across critical equipment and utilities, ensuring safe, reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Experience working safely around industrial equipment and utilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality, attendance, and teamwork.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed and use proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and plant systems.
• Adjust equipment, change small parts, motors, and pump heads as needed.
• Monitor ammonia, compressed air, and high‑pressure steam systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance and equipment rebuilds on schedule.
• Support CIP, sanitation, product quality, and recordkeeping requirements.
• Maintain a clean work environment and promote teamwork and communication.
