Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Austin to perform skilled maintenance repairs, turnover tasks, and preventive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances. You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to ensure timely, professional service to residents.

Responsibilities include apartment turnover, area maintenance, safety compliance, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Strong time management and attention to detail required.
• Ability to adapt to change calmly and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintenance experience across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent maintenance repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and related areas.
• Complete apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days with turnover checklist.
• Maintain common areas: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, cleaning windows.
• Monitor exterior for roof, siding, shutters issues; report and address as needed.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance program and ensure safety of equipment and structures.
• Document new tools/equipment in inventory; keep work area clean and orderly.
