Job summary

ZRS Management in Austin, TX, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform skilled repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances, and to manage apartment turnover within 3–5 days. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to keep the property safe and well-maintained.

Applicants should have a valid driver's license, EPA certification preferred, and the ability to lift heavy objects, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with residents.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred; if required at a property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• Maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and appliances.
• Handle apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and complete turnover checklist.
• Perform common area maintenance: cleaning, sweeping, mopping, trash, pressure washing and windows.
• Monitor building exterior and assist preventive maintenance; ensure safety of equipment and structures.
• Maintain inventory by logging new tools and equipment; keep work area clean and organized.
• Support on-call hours and cooperate with team for responsive service.
