Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Person to operate and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment delivering heating and hot water. You will support Site Manager, perform repairs on apartments, turn over units, and keep common areas clean and safe.

A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required. Weekly inspections, routine preventive maintenance, and responsive action to emergencies are part of the role. Landscaping and light duties are included.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 20 feet.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heaters, air-conditioners and related equipment for safe operation and continuous hot water service.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on apartments and common areas.
• Turn over units vacated, including furniture removal as needed.
• Report health, safety issues to the Site Manager promptly.
• Weekly inspections of buildings and grounds with deficiency reporting.
• Perform housekeeping for building halls, stairways, and public areas.
• Deliver appliances to units, transfers, removals, and replacements.
• Manage landscaping duties and operate related power equipment.
