The position requires a high school diploma or GED and HVAC certification or equivalent experience with major building systems. On-site work, on-call duties, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience with major building systems maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and life safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Follow oral directions.
• Follow written directions.
• Understand major building systems.
• Perform repairs to facility equipment and fixtures, including vehicle maintenance.
• Follow the preventative maintenance program.
• Maintain the overall condition of the building and grounds.
• Perform waste disposal procedures per facility policy.
• Attend in-service training programs.
• Be available for on-call emergencies 24/7.
• Observe infection control procedures in Maintenance.
• Demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
• Comply with safety, fire, protection and prevention programs.
• Perform all maintenance tasks including unit inspections.
• Monitor building systems for continuous operations.
• Respond to campus, equipment and building emergencies on call.
• Accept assigned duties cooperatively.
• Adhere to Rights policies.
• Be accountable for Staff Handbook data.
• Relate to families and staff in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Participate in committee and events on/off campus.
• Comply with Corporate Compliance Program.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Environmental Services.
