Job summary

Rite of Passage is seeking a Maintenance Worker at The Cypress Creek Juvenile Correction Center in Lecanto, FL to support a safe, well-maintained environment for youth on site. You will perform general building maintenance, minor repairs, and ensure readiness of facilities.

Qualified applicants possess a high school diploma, valid Florida driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks; prior maintenance experience is preferred. Flexible schedule with potential overtime is available.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma.
• Prior building maintenance experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
• Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.
• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week with a varied schedule and possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• As a Maintenance Worker, you will help create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for the youth served.
• Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs to facilities as needed.
