Job summary

Towne Properties is looking for a Maintenance Technician to service North Central Village and other sites in Columbus, OH. The role follows a 8am–5pm schedule with an on-call rotation to cover multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in multi-family maintenance, HVAC and Pool Operator Certification, and hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair. A valid license and tools are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in multi-family residential maintenance.
• HVAC experience; Pool Operator Certification.
• Turnover Technician with experience servicing and turning over units.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, lighting, and grounds.
• Strong customer service skills with a cheerful outlook.
• Ability to work independently while staying efficient and thorough.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.
• Must have basic hand tools, valid driver’s license, reliable truck/van, and auto-insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, lighting, locks/keys, pool care, and groundskeeping tasks.
• Handle apartment turnovers, preparing homes for new residents.
• Complete work orders quickly and with high-quality results.
• Address emergencies as they arise or while on-call across multiple sites.
