Kilcoy Global Foods in Mundelein, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the performance and upkeep of large production machinery. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, cleaning, part replacement, and rapid response to equipment failures to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (some college preferred), 2+ years in manufacturing, and familiarity with databases and MS Office. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with database management.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
• Willing to work long hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
• Identifies the cause of unexpected breakdown of machine.
• Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Performs other duties as assigned
