Job summary

LBA Hospitality is hiring a Maintenance Technician to provide preventative maintenance and general repairs across the hotel, ensuring safety, comfort and guest satisfaction. You will work on-site and help keep guest areas and back-of-house facilities in top condition.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and equipment, performing inspections, and documenting activities. Flexibility to work nights/weekends and maintain security standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and safe operating practices.

The Maintenance Technician assists with repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep to ensure the hotel remains safe, functional, and well maintained while providing friendly, professional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and assist with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain hotel grounds and ensure maintenance equipment is in proper working condition.
• Complete assigned maintenance documentation.
• Identify and immediately report or correct hazardous conditions.
• Follow all safety, security, and brand standards.
• Assist guests professionally and protect guest privacy.
• Assist with houseman duties when assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and safe operating practices.
• Dependable, service-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must meet company security clearance requirements.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. and lift/carry up to 60 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and bend, reach, climb ladders, crawl, and kneel.
• May work outdoors in hot or cold conditions.
• Must have scheduling flexibility, including nights and weekends.
• This is an on-site hotel position.
