Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an on-site role at the Pooler, GA area hotel. The technician will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and equipment, and ensure the facility remains safe and well-maintained.

Responsibilities include guest assistance, proper documentation, and adherence to brand standards. Must be dependable, team-oriented, and able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

The Maintenance Technician assists with repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep to ensure the hotel remains safe, functional, and well maintained while providing friendly, professional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and assist with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain hotel grounds and ensure maintenance equipment is in proper working condition.
• Complete assigned maintenance documentation.
• Identify and immediately report or correct hazardous conditions.
• Follow all safety, security, and brand standards.
• Assist guests professionally and protect guest privacy.
• Assist with houseman duties when assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and safe operating practices.
• Dependable, service-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must meet company security clearance requirements.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. and lift/carry up to 60 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and bend, reach, climb ladders, crawl, and kneel.
• May work outdoors in hot or cold conditions.
• Must have scheduling flexibility, including nights and weekends.
• This is an on-site hotel position.
