Job summary

LBA Hospitality is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join the on-site team at our Pasadena, Texas property. You will perform preventative maintenance, handle repairs, and support guest services while keeping the hotel safe and functional.

You will troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and equipment, document tasks, and follow safety and brand standards. The role requires a high school diploma, basic tools knowledge, and a team-focused, reliable approach; weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and safe operating practices.

• Must meet company security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and assist with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain hotel grounds and ensure maintenance equipment is in proper working condition.
• Complete assigned maintenance documentation.
• Identify and immediately report or correct hazardous conditions.
• Follow all safety, security, and brand standards.
• Assist guests professionally and protect guest privacy.
• Assist with houseman duties when assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.

The Maintenance Technician assists with repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep to ensure the hotel remains safe, functional, and well maintained while providing friendly, professional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and assist with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. and lift/carry up to 60 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and bend, reach, climb ladders, crawl, and kneel.
• May work outdoors in hot or cold conditions.
• Must have scheduling flexibility, including nights and weekends.
• This is an on-site hotel position.
