Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Perform machine repair and preventive maintenance on PLC systems, controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, including printing presses, packaging converting equipment, laminating equipment, material handling equipment, and slitting equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Support production operations by maintaining and repairing machinery efficiently.
• Work independently and adhere to safety standards.
• Interpret work instructions, work orders, and read operational materials.
• Complete work orders in the maintenance system.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team on strategies.
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training.
• Identify and report safety hazards and take corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Experience troubleshooting, programming, and evaluating PLCs and drives.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical panels, machinery, and motor controls.
• Experience with printing presses, packaging equipment, and slitting equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, schematics, and manuals.
• Proactive inspection and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.

Physical Demands

• Lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Work at heights or in confined spaces during inspections and modifications.
• Use of hand tools for repairs.

Pay rate: $28-30/hour plus 5% shift differential, based on experience.
