Job description

Multiple shifts available! Let us know if you're interested in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. Must be able to train on day shift for a minimum of 90 days.

Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing general building maintenance and supporting the mechanical needs of the facility to prevent unplanned downtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance.
• Replace or repair defective parts, components, or systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Complete basic carpentry and painting tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Document maintenance records of all work performed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• 1-2 years of general facility maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and work in various environments, including standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Proficient writing and communication skills.

Preferred Requirements

• 3+ years of facility maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with CMMS software.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Other Qualifications

• The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
