Job Description

North Star Sheets, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners and a leader in the corrugated manufacturing industry, has an exciting opportunity for Maintenance Technicians (2nd & 3rd Shift) in Cottage Grove, MN. As a Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot, install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on our state-of-the-art industrial equipment and high-pressure boiler. You will work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems within the facility.

North Star Sheets seeks the following skills and abilities:

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting (preferred).
• Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery (motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3-phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems).
• Understanding of steam and blower/vacuum systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work various shifts and overtime.
• Energetic, motivated, dependable, and dedicated team worker.
• Professional demeanor with positive interaction with teammates.
• Willingness to work effectively in a team environment and handle various tasks for team success.
• Class 2B Boilers License or higher (preferred).
• Experience in the corrugated industry is a plus but not required.
