Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Tier 1 Automation Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repair on automated equipment and robots per machine manuals and company policy. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to ISO/SQF standards within a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include daily equipment checks, mold change setups, PMs, and maintaining safe, clean work areas while collaborating with the Automation supervisor and Technical manager.

  • Check molding grid daily for mold change schedule.
  • Check JDE system daily for scheduled PMs.
  • Pit-stop equipment according to Molding Pit Stop schedule.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
  • Mold change setup and part containment.
  • Bailer troubleshooting and repair.
  • Repair offline and online automation equipment including robots.
  • Maintain guards and safety devices on automated equipment.
  • Maintain high level of housekeeping in work area.
  • Perform duties in a safe and professional manner.
  • Follow directions from Automation supervisor/Technical manager.
  • Adhere to ISO/SQF and Plant Safety Policies.

  • Perform preventative maintenance duties on all equipment.
  • Mold change set up and part containment.
  • Bailer troubleshooting and repair.
  • Repair offline and online Automation equipment including Robots.
  • Responsible for maintaining, installing, and or fabricating all guards and safety devices on automated equipment.
  • Maintain high level of housekeeping in and around work area.
  • Perform job requirements in safe and professional manner.
  • Perform any other duties as established by the Automation supervisor and or Technical manager.
  • Understands Importance of Food Safety, ISO/SQF and Plant Safety Policies.
