Job summary

International Paper is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the Eighty-Four, PA plant. The role covers 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am), with duties in lubrication, hydraulics, welding, electrical systems, and PLCs to maximize machine uptime.

You will follow safety procedures, work with teams to troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain accurate work orders in our CMMS. A strong mechanical background and willingness to cross-train are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong knowledge of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatic, electrical and electronic technologies.
• Experience with PLCs, A/C, motors and drives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits at all times.
• Utilize mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearing, power transmission, lubrication).
• Read and follow factory master instructions and schematics to improve uptime.
• Troubleshoot with maintenance and operations teams to solve problems.
• Participate in preventative maintenance in assigned areas.
