Job summary

International Paper's Mount Carmel Container Plant is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (11pm–7am). You will safely maintain and repair equipment unsupervised, troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on packaging lines, perform routine maintenance, and assist in installing plant equipment.

Electrical experience in a high-speed industrial setting is required, along with the ability to read electrical blueprints and understand AC and DC drives.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience in a high-speed industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints.
• Knowledge of AC/DC drives.
• Willingness to perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain and repair equipment unsupervised.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on packaging equipment.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production line equipment.
• Repair pumps and motors.
• Assist in installation of plant equipment.
• Maintain records.
• Operate PIT, Tugger and Aerial Lift.
• Communicate effectively.
• Follow instructions.
