Job summary

International Paper in Atglen, PA seeks an Electro-Mechanical Reliability Technician to support plant uptime on the 3rd shift (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). You’ll champion safety, perform preventive maintenance, lubricate, measure wear, and respond rapidly to emergencies, while coordinating with vendors for complex repairs.

You will install and repair across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems, operate boilers safely, document activities, and troubleshoot methodically with

• Broad electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety by following all rules and procedures.
• Drive reliability through preventive maintenance: lubrication, wear and position measurements, and abnormal sound/vibration observation.
• Minimize downtime via rapid response to emergencies and breakdowns; consult manuals and technical literature for repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for complex work.
• Install and repair across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems.
• Operate the boiler safely and maintain sufficient steam pressure.
• Document maintenance activities thoroughly and accurately.
• Troubleshoot methodically and keep supervision informed of issues.
• Take on other assigned tasks to support operations.
