Job summary

International Paper is seeking maintenance technicians at the Montgomery, Illinois facility to support a fast-paced production environment. The role focuses on mechanical and electrical maintenance to maximize uptime and safety, with cross-functional teamwork and adherence to preventive maintenance programs.

Candidates should have a high school degree and 2+ years in a maintenance/manufacturing setting, with preferred experience in corrugated manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred.
• Two years of work experience in a maintenance/manufacturing environment with at least one year with the same employer.
• Experience in corrugated manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Following all safety rules and practices.
• Performing preventive maintenance activities and lubrication tasks.
• Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system repairs and installations as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and complete required paperwork.
• Troubleshooting and solving problems as part of maintenance activities.
• Cross-training in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.
