Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance across interior and exterior environments. You will ensure operational reliability, safety, and equipment performance critical to infrastructure and emergency operations.

The role requires hands-on experience, adherence to LOTO and NFPA 70E, and the ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or technical degree in Industrial Technology preferred.
• At least three years of hands-on industrial, commercial, or facility maintenance experience.
• Certifications: PADEP Deep Mine Safety Certified Mine Foreman; First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Monitor generator operations for reliability.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and NFPA 70E safety practices.
• Operate HVAC units and control systems, including air handlers and chillers.
• Service plumbing systems (steel, PVC, copper) and water systems.
• Perform structural and facility repairs (carpentry, drywall, concrete).
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces using spray or brush techniques.
• Inspect facility alarm and security systems.
• Use hand/power tools and testing equipment, operate heavy machinery.
• Use Windows software and Microsoft Office for tracking and communication.
• Deliver strong customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
