Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our North Houston distribution facility to keep high-speed operations running smoothly. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors, MHE, and automated systems.

This role requires reading blueprints and electrical schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and managing work orders in CMMS. Based in Humble, TX with contract-to-hire after 3–4 months, up to 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, distribution, or automation environments.
• Experience with conveyors, MHE, or automated systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong electrical and troubleshooting skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Ready to work with advanced automation, robotics, and high-speed equipment? We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician II to help keep our state-of-the-art distribution facility running efficiently.

? Location: North Houston

? Pay Rate: $32.50/hour

? Contract-to-Hire Opportunity (Direct hire after 3-4 months based on performance and attendance)

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors and material handling equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Support electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
• Manage work orders and maintenance activity through CMMS
• Track downtime, maintenance records, and spare parts inventory

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, distribution, or automation environments
• Experience with conveyors, MHE, or automated systems

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Humble, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
