Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for our Shiner, TX site. This permanent role requires hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing settings, including preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot mechanically and electrically, with familiarity in PLCs, CMMS, and MS Office to support downtime reduction. Responsibilities include installation support and ongoing equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or related environment, with knowledge of preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience with belts, gears, bearings, motors, VFDs, sensors, and basic electrical repair skills.
• Familiarity with PLCs, CMMS systems, Microsoft Office, and supporting equipment installation, training, and downtime reduction.
• Associate's degree in Electrical-Mechanical or Industrial Mechanics preferred; welding, fabrication, cutting, or oilfield experience is a plus, along with stable work history and strong job tenure.

Job Description
