Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift in Oregon, OH. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems, with responsibilities spanning 480V and 3-phase power, wiring, and mechanical diagnostics.

The position operates in a non-climate-controlled facility, Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with occasional Saturday work to meet production demand. Contract-to-Hire terms and full onsite work are included.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or industrial maintenance roles.
• Experience in automotive or plastics manufacturing environments.
• Strong industrial electricity experience, including 480V and 3-phase power.
• Ability to install conduit, outlets and related electrical components.

Job Description

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems with an approximate 60/40 split between electrical and mechanical work.
• Diagnose and repair issues using wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Apply industrial electricity knowledge, including working with 480V, 3-phase power, installing conduit, outlets, and related components.
• Support maintenance of robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other industrial systems as required.

Work Environment

This role is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, where conditions can vary with the seasons. The position operates on 1st shift, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with additional Saturday work currently required due to high production demand. You will work around industrial equipment such as conveyors, presses, injection molding machines, and automated systems, using hand tools, welding and fabrication equipment, and electrical testing tools in your daily activities. Uniforms are provided, supporting a consistent and practical dress standard suitable for a hands-on maintenance environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.87 - $39.87/hr.
