We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a highly automated distribution facility. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, and support automated material handling equipment to keep operations running efficiently.
Perform preventative maintenance and document completed work
Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, motors, belts, relays, photo-eyes, pneumatic systems, and other material handling equipment
Support installation, maintenance, and repair of automated equipment
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
Track maintenance parts and inventory
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams throughout the facility
Experience repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial equipment or machinery
Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings
Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices
Desire to learn and develop new skills
High school diploma or GED
4-Day Work Week
Front Half Nights: Sunday - Tuesday, 4:30 PM - 4:30 AM; Wednesday, 4:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Back Half Nights: Wednesday, 10:30 PM - 4:30 AM; Thursday - Saturday, 4:30 PM - 4:30 AM
Shift assignment is determined by business needs at the time of hire. Training will be conducted Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM during the first week.
The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, and climb steps/ladders. You will frequently lift up to 50 lbs. of equipment and perform tasks while wearing PPE, including a mask, face shield, and composite-toed boots. The position involves regular movement throughout the facility, with walking distances of 6-12 miles per day. The work environment includes fluctuating temperatures and occasional computer-based tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Papillion, NE.
The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
