Aerotek is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Moline, IL to support manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, CNC equipment, and building infrastructure in a hands-on role.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This hands‑on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of production machinery, CNC equipment, and building infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience in a manufacturing environment, and a proactive approach to minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment reliability.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, CNC machinery, and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment issues.
Maintain and support Mazak CNC machines, including program adjustments and optimization as needed.
Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to reduce downtime.
Repair, rebuild, and install machinery, production equipment, and supporting infrastructure.
Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
Complete facility maintenance tasks including lighting, plumbing, HVAC support, and general building repairs.
Support equipment upgrades, renovations, and capital improvement projects.
Maintain maintenance records and document repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe and organized work environment.
Work independently to prioritize maintenance requests and respond to production needs in a timely manner.
Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, machining, or industrial environment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, motors, controls, and industrial equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with Mazak CNC machines and CNC programming.
Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and industrial controls.
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
Vocational training, technical certificate, or related maintenance education.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moline, IL.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
