Job summary

Aerotek in Elgin, IL is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with Swiss CNC expertise to join a growing, family-owned manufacturer offering solid benefits and long-term career growth. You will set up and operate Swiss CNC machines in a clean, climate-controlled facility, reading blueprints and making precise program adjustments to produce high-quality parts.

  • Experience setting up and operating Swiss CNC machines.
  • Strong blueprint and schematic reading skills.
  • Hands-on Swiss lathe machining experience.
  • Ability to make program adjustments and machine changes.
  • Experience troubleshooting machining or production issues.
  • Understanding of CNC maintenance and preventive care.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.

Responsibilities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
