Job summary

Hillpointe is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical tasks across property buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and timely completion of work orders.

The position requires diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, conducting inspections, and coordinating with vendors while maintaining clear documentation. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certifications are needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in buildings and common areas.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, perform repairs safely, and document work completed.
• Experience with maintaining inventory, scheduling, and reporting.
• Know-how to operate and obtain EPA refrigerant certifications Type I/II or Universal.

Responsibilities

• Completing work orders for resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Conducting inspections to ensure quality and address property needs.
• Preparing vacant apartments for new tenants.
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies.
• Maintaining documentation.
• Assisting in grounds upkeep.
• Supporting cost-cutting efforts.
• Participating in safety protocols.
• This position will participate in a rotating on-call schedule, requiring weekend, evening, and morning availability.
