Join us as a Maintenance Technician at Camping World

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) for our expanding team. We prefer candidates with advanced diagnostic and repair skills in Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs. A passion for fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance issues is essential. We offer certification support for those not already certified. If you have experience in areas such as Plumbing, Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, or RV Service, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete diagnostic testing and repair or replacement services to customers, documenting all procedures.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used during repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisors informed of work progress.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisors or designees.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment for customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Trade certifications from college or technical schools (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) are beneficial but applicable work experience is also considered.
• Minimum of 1-year experience as a service technician or in related fields is preferred.
• RVIA certification is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work at heights and handle electrical and welding equipment hazards.
• Exposure to environmental conditions such as heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness.
• Prolonged standing, stooping, crawling, and bending are expected.
• Must provide own hand/shop tools.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
• Valid driver's license required.
